Prescription for Culture Shock

While studying abroad, I'm sure I'll experience quite a bit of culture shock. So in response to these feelings of shock, I've come up with a list of 5 things to prevent negative reactions.


  1. Take a deep breath.
  2. Remember: YOLO.
  3. Talk with locals as often as I can.
  4. Get out and explore. 
  5. LET GO. ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE.
